With just two hours until the U.S. stock markets open, there are several notable movements in pre-market trading. Magna International Inc. (MGA) has seen a 3.5% increase, while Logitech International S.A. (LOGI) is up 3.2%.
Other companies experiencing gains include agilon health inc. (AGL), Brown-Forman Corp. Cl B (BF.B), and ResMed Inc. (RMD), each posting gains of at least 3%. However, TechnipFMC PLC (FTI) and UBS Group AG (UBS) have both seen declines, falling 3.8% and 3.2% respectively.
Looking at the futures, the S&P 500 futures are up 0.40%, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rising 0.31%. Additionally, the Cboe Volatility Index futures have increased by 9.65%.
Turning to commodities news, Brent crude oil futures have gone up by 1.06%, while gold futures have experienced a slight decrease of 0.48%. As for cryptocurrency, Bitcoin has climbed 1.61% to reach $26,569.
Meanwhile, the 10-Year Treasury yield has fallen to 4.502%.
In yesterday’s regular trading session, both the S&P 500 and the Dow witnessed declines of 1.47% and 1.14% respectively. On the other hand, stocks in Asia saw an increase overnight, with Japan’s NIKKEI 225 Index up by 0.18% and China’s Shanghai Composite Index rising by 0.16%.
Currently, European stocks show a downward trend, with the STOXX Europe 600 Index dropping 0.04% and the FTSE 100 Index declining 0.22% from its previous close.
