The composite Thailand SET Index SET dropped 0.1% to 1,416.79. Leading the decline was transportation/logistics firm Regional Container Lines (RCL), falling 8.9%. Precious Shipping (PSL), another transportation/logistics company, also dropped, losing 5.1%. Osotspa (OSP) declined by 4.4%.
On the positive side, Cal-Comp Electronics (CCET), an industrial goods company, gained 4.9%, making it the top leader during the session. Technology firm Jasmine Tech Soln (JTS) followed closely, with a gain of 3.3%. Jasmine International (JAS), operating in the technology space, came in third, adding 2.8% in shares.

In other parts of Southeast Asia, Singapore’s FTSE Straits Times Index added 0.3%, while Malaysia’s FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI rose 0.2%. The Philippines’ PSEi Index increased by 0.1%, while Indonesia’s JSX Composite Index declined by 1.1%.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index fell 0.2%, while Japan’s NIKKEI 225 Index gained 1.2%. China’s Shanghai Composite Index added 0.2%.
South Korea’s KOSPI Composite Index declined by 0.3%, while Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 Benchmark Index increased by 0.9%.
Currency Update
On the currency front, the U.S. dollar fell 0.1% to 34.91 Thai baht, and the euro dropped by 0.2% to 38.20 baht.
