Most large cryptocurrencies experienced gains during morning trading on Thursday. The biggest move was seen by Uniswap (UNIUSD), which rose 2.24% to $6.29.
Several other currencies also posted increases. Dogecoin (DOGEUSD) climbed 1.87%, reaching 8 cents, while Polygon (MATICUSD) increased 1.78% to 70 cents.
Solana (SOLUSD) rose 1.73% to $24.75, and Bitcoin (BTCUSD) climbed 0.63%, reaching $29,667.60. Ethereum (ETHUSD) also saw a modest increase of 0.38%, reaching $1,863.00.
Polkadot (DOTUSD) had the smallest increase among the mentioned cryptos, climbing 0.38% and reaching $5.04.
On the other hand, two cryptocurrencies experienced decreases. Ripple (XRPUSD) saw the largest drop at 3.58%, falling to 64 cents, while Cardano (ADAUSD) slipped 0.11% to 30 cents.
In crypto-related company news, Coinbase Global Inc. (COIN) saw a rise of 4.69% to $88.30, and MicroStrategy Inc. (MSTR) increased by 3.14% to $389.69. Riot Platforms Inc. (RIOT) shares climbed 0.67% to $16.45, and Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. (MARA) increased by 2.68% to $15.93.
Overstock.com Inc. (OSTK) rallied 1.81% to $31.48, while Block Inc. (SQ) increased by 2.22% to $64.11 and Tesla Inc. (TSLA) rallied by 3.47% to $250.59.
PayPal Holdings Inc. (PYPL) rose 1.52% to $62.96, and Ebang International Holdings Inc. (EBON) shares shed 5.76% to $7.55. NVIDIA Corp. (NVDA) rose by 2.18% to $434.81, and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) increased by 2.82% to $113.58.
In the fund space, the Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators ETF (BITQ), which focuses on pure-play crypto companies, climbed 3.55% to $9.04. The Blockchain-focused Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF (BLOK) rose 2.88% to $24.26. Finally, the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), which tracks the Bitcoin market price, saw a 1.45% increase, reaching $19.96.
