Bank of America Corp. (BAC) saw a minuscule decline of 0.15% as its shares closed at $33.07 on Friday. This drop occurred on a day that presented a mixed performance for the stock market as a whole. The S&P 500 Index (SPX) managed to rise by 0.57% to reach 5,026.61 points, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) experienced a slight decrease of 0.14% to settle at 38,671.69 points.

Interestingly, this marks the second consecutive day of losses for Bank of America Corp.

It is worth noting that Bank of America Corp. came close to its 52-week high of $35.99, concluding the day just $2.92 short of this achievement, which was recorded on February 14th.

In comparison to its competitors on Friday, Bank of America Corp.’s stock performance was mixed. While JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM) increased by 0.12% and closed at $175.01, Wells Fargo & Co. (WFC) witnessed a decline of 0.60% and settled at $48.06.

The trading volume for Bank of America Corp. reached 36.1 million shares, which fell 7.4 million shares below its 50-day average volume of 43.5 million shares.
